The concepts of Heaven and Hell are components of various organized religions (belief systems) that have been conjured by Homo sapiens in an effort to understand and/or accept the meanings of life.
In the genre of Rock Music there are two songs that immediately come to mind when Heaven and/or Hell are mentioned. These songs can easily be included into my Seminal Music category, seminal meaning “highly original and influencing the development of future events”.
The purpose of my music posts is to key on the lyrics. We often listen to a song, like it a lot, hum along or sing along with it, without really comprehending what the lyrics are saying. Song lyrics often mean different things to different people, so I’m not going to try to tell you what I think. I want you to read the lyrics as the song is playing and make your own determination of what the song means to you.
